Hot List Winners (Again!)
For the second year in a row, Golf Digest have named not one, but two new Seed balls as ‘the best new balls for 2024’ on their prestigious Hot List test.
Our new 3rd Generation SD-02 scooped a medal along with our yet-to-released SD-17, both having earned spots on Golf Digest's Hot List for 2024.
If you haven’t already tried the new SD-02, click here to see why it won.
This year's Hot List was the most rigorous yet, featuring a blind tests by elite amateurs (balls are blacked out so testers don’t know which brand or ball they are testing) and high-tech robotic testing in Arizona to measure all aspects of performance, including spin rates and launch characteristics.
And yes, Seed made the cut. Twice!
Why does this matter? (it’s not all about us giving ourselves a pat on the back)
It matters because Seed was formed to provide regular golfers like you and me with premium performance golf balls at affordable prices.
The big boys focus on the pros, but Seed delivers scientifically-backed, top-notch balls that perform on the course for regular golfers and stand up to the stiffest tests in golf.
The new SD-02 features a new core formulation, and a thinner cover.
Basically, it’s faster off the club face and spins quicker around the greens.
As for SD-17?
Well, that’s ‘top secret’ at this stage but I can tell you it’ll be making its debut later this year.
Don’t worry, you’ll be the first to know when it’s ready to hit the fairways.
Three Hot List medals in two years… we think that’s good going for a scrappy little start-up like Seed.
Thanks for being part of our journey too.
You’re helping us break the mould and change the way golfers buy their balls.
