SD-01 The Pro One - Loosies

The order was delivered the day after ordering. In time to be played with the next day. I normally use Pro-v1s or TP-5s and was a bit apprehensive about using the ball. However, I was very pleased with the balls - until the 6th when it hit a stone bridge and flew OB (not the ball's fault). The first loss! I played the rest of the round with a second ball and have now played three other full rounds with it and the ball's cover shows no deterioration and the ball performs as well or better than my usual Titleist or Taylormade balls. I did buy enough to see me through the year and I'm more than happy to play with them. I currently play off 2 and can see no reason not to continue with these balls.

I originally found a Yellow AF on a golf course that some poor soul had lost, I now realise how upsetting that can be, having purchased some myself based on the impressive feel!
These REALLY do feel good! I find they have a slightly tacky feel out of the box (I don’t mean cheap, I mean sticky). I like this very much as it gives me confidence that it will grip the club face well and improve spin. They also feel explosive off the face when properly struck so distance is strong! Nice soft putter feel as well. They really are good all round.
It’s really sad to lose these things! Unfortunately I need to buy more soon…😔
I’ll be putting another joint order in with a friend who was a TP5 user but has been converted instantly!

I purchased 50 x white and 50 x yellowAF SD-01 loosies in early December and received them end December. I have never seen Seed balls here in Kenya and it was only what I had seen on the web and Youtube reviews that persuaded me to give them a go.
Firstly, the ordering of the balls was a simple task from the Seed website.
Secondly, the balls were delivered to my export shipper in quick time and was a credit to Seed.
Once i received the balls, i liked the fact that the loosies did away with all the unnecessary packaging (which saved me shipping weight) and who needs the sleeves etc anyway.
I inspected the quality of the balls, was very impressed as they were premium quality but how was the performance?
I used the balls for the first time today and straight away I was very impressed. The balls feel soft without being too soft and squishy and I got very good distance with them from my driver. With the irons I had good accuracy but the thing that stood out for me was the ball spin when I hit into the green. One bounce and stop. Amazing. Our greens are fairly receptive anyway but this amount of spin was superb.
I was playing with a gent who is a good player and his ball of choice is a prov1x. I loaned him one of my balls which he tried for 2 holes and was very impressed also and will be ordering some very soon.
Did I tell you even my caddie (it is normal to have caddies in Kenya) was very happy with the yellow AF balls as he could find them very easy in the rough.
As you may guess, I am very pleased with my purchase and have to congratulate Seed on a brilliant product.
