The new, 3rd Generation SD-01 is a refinement of the original SD-01 design and see's improvements through the bag.

USGA & R&A test results show this to be the longest Seed we've ever produced, maxing out at 306 yards.

Enhanced overall performance by improving ball speed, increase in distance through the bag and an improved softer feel for more responsiveness off the club (particularly the shorter clubs and putter).

To do all that we developed one of thinnest urethane covers in golf, at just 0.0275" thick (ProV1 is 0.0300" by comparison) and a new, faster core that we've dubbed SeedSpeed.

What does all that mean?

Well, this ones the perfect combination of distance, feel and short game spin.

quite a surprise

I normally use a Titleist AVX or Pro V1 dependent on the weather conditions. I tried the SD-01 out of interest and have been impressed with ball flight and spin on the greens. It feels harder than a ProV1 when putting and hitting with irons and woods however overall I really like it . Not convinced on the name though!!!!!

The Yellow One!

I really like the feel of the SD-01. It seems to have better contact with the club face versus a Pro V1. Putting is good, especially on high stint greens.
I’ve placed my second order - so that’s is a good recommendation.

Very impressive ball

I have always been a Srixon ball player, the SD-01 has a softer feel than the Z-Star & slightly firmer than the Q-Star.
Seems to be low spin off the driver but holds the greens very well with the wedges.
Had the same ball for 2 rounds without any marks on the cover.
Overall, it's a very impressive ball.

Love these golf balls!

I originally found a Yellow AF on a golf course that some poor soul had lost, I now realise how upsetting that can be, having purchased some myself based on the impressive feel!
These REALLY do feel good! I find they have a slightly tacky feel out of the box (I don’t mean cheap, I mean sticky). I like this very much as it gives me confidence that it will grip the club face well and improve spin. They also feel explosive off the face when properly struck so distance is strong! Nice soft putter feel as well. They really are good all round.
It’s really sad to lose these things! Unfortunately I need to buy more soon…😔
I’ll be putting another joint order in with a friend who was a TP5 user but has been converted instantly!
Keep up the good work Seed, great product! Keep the price down and you’ll continue to be a great success.
